JABU MAHLANGU CRITICISES TSO VILAKAZI OVER BAFANA BAFANA COMMENTS

Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Jabu Mahlangu has criticised Benedict “Tso” Vilakazi for his recent remarks about national team coach Hugo Broos.

Vilakazi questioned Broos’ future after Bafana Bafana’s exit from the Africa Cup of Nations. He suggested that the coach should be replaced. His comments sparked debate across football circles.

Jabu Mahlangu rejected the criticism. He said Vilakazi ignored the progress made under Broos. According to Pule, the coach inherited a struggling team.

Mahlangu argued that analysts should be fair in their assessments.

He also challenged Vilakazi directly. Mahlangu said it is easy to criticise from a studio. He added that coaching requires responsibility and accountability.

Mahlangu pointed out that Broos introduced younger players into the squad. He said the team structure has improved. He believes these changes show clear progress.

Vilakazi has maintained his stance. He insists that higher standards are required at national level. His views continue to divide opinion among fans.

The exchange has renewed debate about the role of former players as pundits. Many supporters have called for constructive criticism instead of personal attacks.

Broos remains in charge of Bafana Bafana. Pressure will continue as results remain under scrutiny.
