Malema Pays Tribute to Paul Mahlalela at Funeral Service

The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters, Julius Malema, delivered a message of unity and upliftment at the funeral of the late Mr Paul Mahlalela. The service drew family, friends, and party supporters.


Malema spoke about empowerment and dignity. He said the growth of one person can lift an entire community. Malema added that poverty weakens families and damages self-worth. He urged people to build each other rather than compete in pain.


Julius described Mahlalela as a humble servant of the people. He said the late leader believed in shared success. Moreover, he said Mahlalela worked quietly for social justice. His legacy, Malema said, will guide young activists.

However, Malema warned against division among the poor. Julius said struggle should be faced together. He stressed that respect grows when communities rise together.


Malema linked empowerment to education and work. Additionally, he said businesses should open doors for local youth. He called for programs that support small traders and workers. Such steps, he argued, can change daily life.


He also spoke about land and economic access. He said these remain central to freedom. Meanwhile, he urged leaders to act with honesty. He asked families to teach children about service and care.
